Cookie policy

A short list, because there is very little to list. This site sets nothing of its own, and the one thing that can set anything is named below. Last updated August 2026.

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that something can be remembered between one page and the next. This policy says which ones exist here.

What this website sets by itself

Nothing. There is no session, no login, no basket, no saved preference, no consent-banner state and no first-party measurement. Every page is assembled on the server and sent to you complete, so there is nothing for a first-party cookie to remember.

It follows that there is no cookie banner on this site. A banner asking permission to set cookies that do not exist would be theatre, and it would train you to click through the ones that matter elsewhere.

What is not here

Stating the absences is more useful than a table of cookies we do not use. This site carries no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn insight tag, no TikTok pixel, no session recording or heatmap tool, no A/B testing tool, no live-chat widget, no embedded video, no embedded map, and no social sharing buttons. It loads no fonts, stylesheets, scripts or images from a content delivery network; the single typeface here is served from this domain.

The one third party that can set cookies

When we are running paid search advertising on Microsoft Advertising, this site loads the Universal Event Tracking tag from bat.bing.com. That tag sets cookies in your browser, and Microsoft rather than us decides what they are called and how long they last.

What it does here is narrow and worth stating precisely. It records that a page was viewed, and it records two named events: one when a consultation request has been submitted successfully, and one when a telephone link on the site is activated. Its purpose is to attribute advertising spend to those actions.

What it does not receive is the content of your enquiry. Not your name, not your email address, not your telephone number, not the parcel address, and not your message. Those go by email to us and nowhere else. Microsoft acts as its own controller for what its tag collects, and its own privacy and cookie statements govern that data.

The tag is conditional. It is switched on by a single identifier in the site's configuration file, and while that identifier is unset the tag is not written into the page at all — no script element, no queue, no request to bat.bing.com, and therefore no cookie. In that state this website makes no external network request of any kind.

Refusing them

Three routes, any of which works on its own, and none of which stops you reading this site or sending the form:

  • Your browser. Every current browser can block third-party cookies entirely, or clear them on exit. That is enough on its own.
  • Microsoft's own controls. Microsoft publishes advertising opt-out settings that apply across the sites using its tag, not only this one.
  • A content blocker. Any of the common blocking extensions will prevent bat.bing.com from loading in the first place.

Sending your browser a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal is also respected by Microsoft to the extent its own published policies state; we do not override it.

Server logs are not cookies

Separately from any of the above, our web host keeps ordinary access logs: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. Those are produced by the hosting infrastructure rather than by anything in the page, they are used for security and troubleshooting, and no cookie is involved. They are described in the privacy policy alongside everything else we hold.

Changes

If a tag is ever added to this site, this page is updated before it goes live, with the date at the top revised. If you are reading a version of this page that does not match what your browser tools show you, tell us and we will fix it.
